Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

There are many events at our school. We maintain a School Calendar for excursions and school events which is available below to help families with planning.

Bega High students have achieved at Regional, Zone and State level.

Date: Beginning Week 3

Time: 9:00am-3:15pm for 2 days

Venue: Bournda National Park

Students will participate in swimming and orientaion activities.

UOW Year 12 Discovery Day 2026

Date: 16-18th February, 2026

Time: 9:00am-3:15pm for 2 days

Venue: Wollongong University and surrounds

Year 12 attendees will spend time together as a year group, plan the year’s activities, enjoy some adventures together and, to get a taste for life at Wollongong University campus.
